Lou was my best friend, mentor and the most decent man I know. Lou was one of the great ambassadors of our sport. He embodied the integrity that we should all strive for both in and out of the water. He cared deeply for his family and acted as a role model for countless numbers of players (past and present). The world is a better place for having had Lou in it. Lou always put others (the team) above himself or any individual. I will continue to live my life asking "what would Lou do?" because I know that the answer to that question is the proper course to take.
